The HLC supports each county’s Board of Health to enact an ordinance that prohibits the use of electronic vapor devices (E-cigarettes) in any place where smoking is prohibited per RCW70.160 (Smoking in Public Places). This young man, Bryce, attended a training hosted by ESD 112 with Change Lab Solutions through their youth tobacco funds aimed at prohibiting local electronic vapor devices in public places. After the training he went to Olympia to testify in front of the state legislature on how youth are being impacted by E-cigarettes. Bryce is the youngest member of the Clark County Public Health Advisory Board.
