The Healthy Living Collaborative is very grateful for the recent grant award of $50,000 from the Community Foundation for SW Washington. As reported by The Columbian, “The local charitable foundation just awarded $590,433 in grants to 38 nonprofit agencies and schools. The Healthy Living Collaborative of Southwest Washington and Clark County Health Department’s ACEs program were each awarded $50,000 — the two largest grants in the whole group.” The grant was given in recognition of the HLC’s frontrunner work in aligning health reform toward geographical areas of higher need.
The HLC i proud of all of the CHWs and Coaches and the hard ground breaking work being done to bring difficult health reform closer to reality And we are thankful for our community partners – like the Community Foundation for SW Washington. This is another fine example of our mission: “Together, we make life better for everyone!”
